It would be great if they provided some application to make that happen easily.

it's out and I got it today

I quite like it

The only thing I don't like is that the parameter range for coarse frequency for the oscillators is from 0-127, so it's really hard to set semi-tone intervals

Does the original VS have this limitation also?

no, you can enter course pitch from 0 - 24 semi-tones

How is the midi and audiobus implementation? I'm a bit leary as I believe this is actually coded by Retronyms who also did the iMini...and there were a bunch of issues with it. In fact I don't believe it's been updated to iOS 8 yet...

Dave, I don't know, as I just play all my apps as standalone things and am still on iOS7 Smile

I do know it is done by Retronyms and is designed to work with Tabletop, which I don't have either Very Happy

Sorry if that's not much help

It sounds good though!

From my use of it so far

Main pros, it has extra filter types, extra chorus types, delay, overdrive and it's a lot easier to edit.

Main cons, no dual mode or arpeggiator, no waveform mixing, no random mode, parameter ranges for oscillators are stupid and no velocity/aftertouch

and here's some sounds I made with it for my last AIS radio show
