I saw synthcube had some full Euroklee kits in stock and leapt on one. |

Spuddo: there are issues with availability of the base Klee analog and digital boards right now (see elsewhere on this forum) so NV posted on Muff's that he's delaying until they figure out how to solve that.

Hi Alanp , thought about buying the synthcube kit , but a bit pricey--$515 versus NV kit at $295.
I thought they contained the same---panel , daughterboard and parts , maybe I got it wrong.
Any thoughts ?

NV's kit is just the panel and panel PCB and some cables and things. To build a full Klee, you also need the analog/digital boards and a parts kit, so $515 sounds about right to include all those things (though as noted, availability of the A/D boards is questionable). I'd say if Synthcube is calling it a "full" kit it should include those additional things though. |

Hi elmegil , thanks for your input.
I've got the boards , just need the panel , parts and daughterboard.
I realize synthcube provide a service and if their kit provides all I need , then their price is fair---problem is --no stock.
I'm sure it will sort it self out in time.
Meanwhile , I've got a minimoog to restore and an MFOS sequencer to build , so I can wait.
Regards

As elmegil mentioned, I'm in the process of organizing distribution of the Analogue/Digital boards alongside kits for the 3rd run. This has added some time to getting the 3rd run going but the end result should make both the ordering and building process smoother for everyone.
Once the 3rd run is all set I'll be emailing everyone from the interest list and updating the Muff Wiggler thread to let everyone know that the order is ready to launch and to confirm they are still interested in a kit, as well as allow some time for people to add or change orders.
My apologies if I missed an email from you - I try to stay on top of email questions but my provider has a habit of sorting certain addresses into the vast pile of spam so it sometimes takes me awhile to pick up on a message that was thrown in there. |

Mind, the synthcube kits are complete EXCEPT for the A/D base PCB's!!!
(Hopefully either synthcube or NV can secure some arrangement re: the base PCB's, I got my complete kit j.i.t. but candidate for a second complete kit!) |
