Hi all,

I'm using my new laptop, win7 64bit, 2,5 GHz and 4,00 GByte RAM (3,90 usable...).

on "setup - audio/midi" I'm getting the same message.

does anybody seen this problem?
thank you.

Others have reported that too, yeah, there are some posts around here dealing with the subject - not too long ago even. I think it had to do with certain audio drivers, you can try to disable 'm one by one to see if you can find an offender.

Guys, I wouldn't bother anymore. The g2 demo is deadware IMO. Rally behind the brilliant SONIGEN modular instead!

http://www.sonigen.com/

Maybe Clavia will do the right thing and buy these guys up? Very Happy

Yes deadware. And it's been deadware for a long time. Evil or Very Mad (or at least it has if you either have a Mac or only a cheap PC. (I have both).

Sonigen's developers hope to support both platforms, and you can use it with an external keyboard. The latter is a good enough reason to support Sonigen, because let's face it, the G2 demo can't be used with MIDI at all. Exclamation

Yes, go to Setup, choose Audio/Midi and select your midi controller/keyboard.

Hi Kla, I had that problem too, after having a new mother board installed. I was realy going nuts about this problem. In the end I updated the audio drivers and that worked. I use a RealTek high end btw. But the free Asio4all driver will work fine too. I use Vista.

thank you! very good stuff!
silly question number 1: does it work only by midi? i have no problem to use it but I want to use this emulator as virtual modulator: to learn and try.
It could be more easy to use a virtual keyboard...
thanks a lot

Kla, when you disable the audio driver, there is no sound. My settings are (MME)speakers(Realtek High Def). But the free Asio4all driver will do the job too.
