…or just ephemeral, I dabble at a rough edged style of landscape gardening. Except for the large pine in the extreme upper left corner and the bluish overexposed woods in the upper background I planted everything you see in this picture with my own dirty hands.

I guess I’m posting this cause I’m so tired of waiting for spring. Sad

It's there, you just have to know where to look.

Nice pic. Brings back memories - nice ones.

Beautiful! I'm jealous - not only is the Texas landscape fairly ugly, but I don't even spend the time to enjoy that. I miss dirt... seems like I haven't been dirty in ages...

Thank you, and I understand. I would certainly miss the experience of garden and dirt. Perhaps after you're done celebrating the release of the new game you can go back to the other side for a while.

Yes, this is really beautiful! I am jealous too, we have but a very dank postage stamp -- although there are some stunning mushrooms (no not stunning in that way) in the Autumn.

Gardening in Norway is difficult due to the cold and short season, so even a lawn is a difficult thing to grow. That said, I do like moss.

The lawns on the roofs thing is all about parking the goddamn goats.. and you would perform the geiteganning procedure inhouse.

Hey show some respect! Goats are very intelligent and a real joy to work with using operant conditioned training.

That brand? Norwegian Jarlsberg? That is one of my favorites too.
There is no goat in that one, unless they have grinded and blended some goat stuff into the packaging. You never know

That brand is sold in the local markets here. They have a lite version that I don't like as much as the regular. Juli and I are on low carb diets and eat a lot of fish, meat and cheese.

We get some excellent sugar free stuff from a local producer, http://www.ashers.com/

Cool! I've been experimenting with sweetening chocolate with Splenda. So far the results are not acceptable but I'm still making progress. I'd like to buy Callebaut unsweetened in bulk and make all my own chocolates.

Presenility I can make some rather outrageous truffles out of Calleabut dark--substantially better than Godiva at any rate. Now if I could just do it with out the sugar.

This was the best I could do right now. If you wonder where all the grass is all I can say is that the farmer has probably sold it to juveniles.
