I had this idea that it would be nice to have a sequencer with small fragments in it and then run a sequencer over that to sequence the fragments. The top level sequencer then needs a start position and a count.

Building it I also added a repeat count. This is not really a finished patch, but merely an illustration of an idea.

A backwards option for the fragments would maybe be nice and not so hard to implement, maybe I'll just do that later.

This is a great idea. There is a great deal to do with this.

In looking at the transpose sequencer going into the chain input of a control sequence is like a unity gain mixer. Who woulda thunk it?

Here is a better version, in that the 1st note of a fragment has the same length as the others, the count matches the set value, a count of 1 can be used, the thing can run backwards and the triggers are stretched to the length of half a clock cycle.

The repeat counts are still not good it seems though, as if they are sampled at a wrong moment. I'll look into that later.

Ok, I'm going nuts, and and can't count anymore, something seems still off.

But it seems it counts the needed repeats now correctly - after adding a tactical delay.
